Folks, today is a special day for a PILE of reasons.

For the first time ever, we have an honest-to-goodness ROBOT on the premises. It's built and operated by Robotics Team 1218 at Springside Chestnut Hill, and it's frankly amazing. They'll be showcasing their creation all afternoon, so stop by to see what some of the best and brightest local high schoolers have been up to.

It is in fact Small Business Saturday, and we are participating in a few ways:

• We are part of the Manayunk Shop Small Passport program, which means that folks who visit 6 or more participating Manayunk businesses will earn a $25 gift certificate.
• This is the only day of the year that we offer discounted pints, which are on sale for $9 today only.
• Seasonal specialties like Walnut Coffee Cake Sundaes and from-scratch Hot Chocolate are ready for you!
