Cave's 1997 title DoDonPachi is a vertically-scrolling bullet hell shoot 'em up game. Players can pick from three different ships which can either rapid-fire by pressing the attack button repeatedly or fire a massive column of laser by holding it down continuously. It's one of the genre's best loved titles due to its frantic gameplay, sharp design, and rocking soundtrack.
