Tehkan's 1984 title Bomb Jack is a single-screen action game. Players assume the role of Bomb Jack, who is tasked with collecting all of the bombs in each level. Collecting bombs fills up a bonus meter at the top of the screen; when the meter is completely filled a power-up appears that allows Bomb Jack to turn all enemies into collectible coins.
