It's hard to believe, but Tubby Robot has been open for business for an entire year! It's been an incredible 365 days: we've served up 40,000 scoops of ice cream and won some great awards, but we feel like we're just getting started.

To honor the occasion we're unleashing our newest creation: the Ice Cream Hoagie. We bake shorti-shaped puff pastries and slice them open to fill with ice cream and the toppings of your choice. It's an extremely philadelphian take on a classic recipe that just might make you rethink the way you eat ice cream.

Thanks to our adoring public, we won a Best of Manayunk 2018 award! The Belgian Waffle Sundae has been conferred with the illustrious title "Best Dish to Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth".

Our deepest thanks and appreciation go out to our fellow business owners, the Manayunk Development Corporation for organizing, Bourbon Blue for hosting, and all of our amazing customers who voted for us and keep us rolling every weekend. We're here because of you!

February is here, which means that it's Girl Scout Cookie Month in Manayunk!

We're now serving up "Cookie Season", a specialty sundae based on our Chocolate Mint Chocolate ice cream and topped off with hot fudge, cookie crumbles, whipped cream, and Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies. It's one of our all-time favorites, and what makes it even sweeter is that a portion of the proceeds will go directly to Roxborough Girl Scout Troop 9129.

We are VERY EXCITED to announce that we are hosting a Sweet Elizabeth's Cakes pop-up shop on Valentine's Day!

Tubby Robot will be open from noon to 9pm on Wednesday, February 14th to serve some very special cupcakes. Quantities are limited, so be sure to make your reservation on Sweet Elizabeth's website!

Frigid temperatures have receded, and our favorite culinary titan is coming out of hibernation: Belgian Waffle sundaes are back.

We still bake them in the shop using our proprietary from-scratch batter, but now they're round and even thicker. Stop by this weekend to eat a waffle and watch the final weekend of Awesome Games Done Quick on Wall-O-Vision!

A public service announcement: this is the final weekend we'll be serving s'more sundaes this season. They're on the way out to make room for other hot menu items, so if you enjoy hot gooey marshmallows you'd best make haste.
